Opa
Banda uruguaia formado pelos Fatorusso Brothers (Los Shakers), Ruben Rada (Totem) e Airto Moreira (Tropicalia Maestro). Uma verdadeira miscelânea de ritmos e tudo meio progressivo e psicodélico.
Só tenho uma coisa a dizer: SONZEIRA TOTAL!!! Imperdível!!!
Airto was not a member of Opa. He helped the Fatorussos in the US market, they performed in some albums by him and by Flora Purim, and Airto and Flora were guests in the Opa's albums. By the way, those albums were two: Golden Wings and Magic Time. In the first one, Opa was formed by the Fatorussos and bass player "Ringo" Thielmann (the three guys are in the Back Home front cover). In Magic Time, Rada was a regular member too. Back Home is a collection of demos and previously unreleased recordings, made before Golden Wings. A great band, indeed.
